Know Your body type & choose your lengha accordingly.

  1. Petite: If you have a small, slender and trim figure you’re lucky to experiment with variety of lehengas with different cholis. One can opt for corsets, halter, deep neck blouses, strappy, off shoulder or one shoulder blouses to compliment your body type. Wear a lehenga that has vertical intricate embellishments to add length to your look. A free flowing dupatta over the shoulder and slightly below the knee with a vertical border will give an illusion of height.
  2. Pear Shaped:  If you are a heavy bottom beauty; less on upper body with a well-defined waist line then you have a pear shape body. One can opt for blouses that are slightly on the heavy side to add volume. Wear a lehenga that is “A” line Kalidar with not too much of volume to it as extra volume adds bulk to shape. As the waist is slimmer than the low waist you can wear you lehenga little above or from the naval.

Make sure they don’t have heavy embroidery or embellishment on top which would add volume to the upper part. Tiny little work which falls flat would be advisable. Wear a lehenga that is multi panel and straightish from the hips & has flare to add some volume to the lower part.
  4. Hourglass: If you have a defined waist line with curvy upper and lower body then you have a hourglass shape body. One can opt for corsets and halter paired with a Fish tail or Mermaid lengha to enhance the look.
  5. Slim athletic: If you are slim, tall and have an athletic built then you can opt for deep necks or high neck cholis  with long sleeves. It can be short in length paired with jacket just to add a little twist to the look. Wear a flared lehenga which has horizontal embroidery or embellishment to enhance your body frame.
